    Because getting something in the mail is even better. This thing is over 100+ pages and WAY better printed out.

    I appreciate you allowed my post to be published. You could have buried it or left it waiting for approval for ever.

    I would agree on the principal that reading a printed version has its advantage, but not giving the option of a download, for information you announced free and instead asking for a $9.97 shipping fee, makes it, well, … less free.

    I was interested in the subject, and in previous times would have shrugged at the shipping fees and ordered it, but these days, even 10 bucks is not an option, and I am pretty sure I am not the only one. Too bad.

    It’s a holiday promotion for the book and almost every customer who bought the eBook actually asked for a physical version.

    I am also pretty sure you know about ebook piracy. If we gave the eBook away, you would probably see it all over the internet being ripped off and sold for $10.

    Thank you and Michael and Quoc for making “How to Make iPhone Apps” so available to us.

    I’m confident I could come up with some pretty creative ideas, but I have one looming question that would remain my big concern even if and when I learn how to create apps, .. and I’m wondering if it’s addressed in the book.

    “Since people have been creating apps for years, now, is there an easy way to find out if someone else has already created an app of my idea so I don’t end up creating apps for things that have already been done?”

    So weird… I was planning on getting the ebook and just heard about these guys this week. Hate to ask, but are the bonuses on their site in the physical book. I don’t mind paying $97 for that (the NDA, etc.) Thanks in advance for your response.

    Hello Amish,

    I’m impressed that you responded to the people who asked about making it a free download via a PDF. I might add I agree with them that it is not really free if you have to pay shipping and handling. That said, there’s nothing wrong with selling a book. And in that case I have another suggestion. Why not load it onto Amazon and/or Barnes & Noble for Kindle or Nook downloads as an eBook? You could make it free or charge the same as the shipping and handling and, at least for me, I’d rather download it instantly and read it. This would also protect you from the rip-offs.

    Happy New Year Amish!!! Hope you are in great spirits…I was wondering, how much does it cost to make these apps and market them? Are there any other fees that you must pay to make this work? Say, does it cost more to make apps for androids than apples? Thanks for the info Amish.

    Apps vary in cost depending on complexity! It can cost $500 or $50,000. :) To market them is very similar. You can spend more and get more or spend less and get less.

    The other fees will include the Apple developer costs which is $99 a year. Same goes for Android!

    Ive even got a name ready so waiting anxiously for book! Last time I received item from USA, postal fee was not covered and item was returned by post centre. Please don’t allow this to happen.

    Your postal charge is the best offer on app. training yet, but Android is just as important, and not entirely the same in practical sense as I believe designers charge more to create both Apple and Android.

    Based on the economy and the lack of business for many company’s today mobile apps is a great way to help local business survive. I’ve been looking at GoMobile app builder, however I have a big problem with affiliates trying to market their system for $995. Don’t get me wrong everyone is in business to make money.

    Does the book have enough of content for a tech savvy person to start building apps and build a viable business marketing to small to medium size businesses? I am interested in marketing custom apps to the Real Estate and Restaurant industry.

    Thanks for the video and comments. I am going to purchase the book today.
