Oh my gosh man I just read this post and its amazing for me cause its the exact same Ive been thinking… and I havent even begun with marketing but I want to begin partly because of this… Just very special for me to read about a fellow marketer saying this. The path of success and wealth is not an egocentric path cause you cannot help others if you dont first help yourself. Ive been thinking alot about this.

Great post very inspirational your right giving is a great trait in a Human being because it sounds like you and your wife are very generous so we all thank you for that. Sounds like you have an amazing Woman that cares enough to go to 3rd world countries and take care of people in need. There is no shortage of people that need help in this world and the number keeps growing and probably will for a long time.

They are in every part of the world but I will need to make a lot of money just to help the ones in my immediate area.

So I first want to make enough money to help those, also in real need, close around me and then eventually make so much that I can also start helping people in all the other areas that need help as well.

I plan to, ok I mean I will eventually, make enough to retire from the business scene and use all the money I have made/saved to travel the world and find those in the greatest need of my help, like Bill Gates and Richard Branson.

Just wanted to let you know, please don’t judge the PEOPLE of Uganda based on the GOVERNMENT of Uganda. That’s like judging Americans for America or the Iranians for Iran’s intolerant government.

MOST people worldwide are tolerant and want to be left alone to marry who they want to marry, live how they want to live, worship who they want to worship, make babies, raise them the way they want to and just live in peace.

Very FEW are true haters – and the government of Uganda has bowed down to several fundamentalist, right-wing Christian hate-groups who have pledged money to the Ugandan government and leading families there. Those people DO NOT represent the majority of the people in that country.

The people there are flesh and blood people just like you and me. They just want to live in peace and want their children to be safe, happy and have lives better than they have had and not live in an intolerant society with an intolerant government.

As much as I love you – all I can think about is how Uganda is now currently involved with a major hate campaign against gays and lesbians. Ah, well. I guess people can’t learn to love if they are in dental pain. My own middle class American son just went through that, and no amount of money would cure him – there just had to be some time. And of course children should not suffer for the sins of their parents. Plus my own country has had a few campaigns of hate I suppose.
I am a nurse, and I also would love to travel and help with my skills. Of course, in the US I might only have to travel to Oakland to treat the undertreated.
Amish, you caught me in a bitter moment perhaps. Best of luck in a honest venture.
