Zoltar says that this app would be something like Gourmet Chef Training, much like Disney has done with merging the physical world with Apps.

Zoltar says that, “the advancement and development of Apps will give birth to a major boom and push in the hardware industry.”

AND HE SAYS THAT…

7) Apps will replace traditional media!

• Zoltar says that “it’s already happening so not really a prediction, although it’s going to accelerate VERY rapidly!”

8 ) Amazon will push hard into the app store space and the tablet space at a much quicker pace!

9) The adoption of Android will grow faster than most people estimate because of the flexibility.

And for App Developers out there… Zoltar says…

10) Companies that develop Apps for mobile e-wallet purchases and integration of social coupon sharing will explode and the Adapters that get into the game now will be bought out very quickly for huge sums of money.

• Zoltar stated tag lines like, “Swipe your smart phone instead of your debit card” or “Tap it, Swipe it, and Buy it” … will pop up!

11) And by adding a social plugin, it will take it to the next level.  Zoltar said that “Jim was able to send a 50 cent coupon for product X to 500 of his Facebook or social media friends.” (Hint! Hint!)

• This will be the ‘personal sharing with friend’ and trust factor! Major brands will kill for this because they don’t have the power of trust Jim has with Jane, of course!

12) And finally, as India, and south America continue to get online with less internet restrictions, Zoltar says that we’ll see a boom of hundreds of millions of new people eager to consume on mobile, and advertisers and smart App Developers are licking their chops!

• App Developers who want to focus for these markets are prime to be bought out for enormous sums as well in a very quick time, 14 months tops.  Again the money is in the collection of the data.

Last week, I was in Vancouver, BC, Canada ripping it up with the Bitzio team this past week! As I mentioned in my last blog post Bitzio (www.bitzio.com) is the name of my Mobile Apps company that got acquired this past July. Oh ya…what’s even crazier is that it’s a publicly traded company now (stock ticker symbol is btzo.ob)!

It has been all-about-apps lately! And I wanted to share some insight into the industry with you on where I see it heading in 2012 after doing a bit of research.

First, some BIG NEWS!

Somewhere at a computer Wednesday, December 7th, a developer pushed a button and the one-millionth mobile app went to market.

WOW! That’s just INSANE!

NY times says…

14 days before the release of app No. 1,000,000, about 543 apps were released each day for Android-based devices, and an average of 745 apps hit the market daily for the iPhone, iPad and iTouch. The total for the two weeks across the Apple, Android, BlackBerry and Windows platforms was 20,738!

Around 15,000 apps are released right now per week!

And, Google reported…

The Android Market app downloads hit one billion per month, but Apple said that iOS downloads surpassed 18 billion in October.

73 percent of apps created for the fourth quarter are based on iOS, compared with 27 percent for Android.

Apps are BLOW’IN UP! (Well, you knew this!)

So what do I think are the 3 BIG changes (or catapulting shifts!) coming in 2012 to the app market?

And by catapulting shift, I mean these overall shifts are massively changing the market…and FAST!

BIG SHIFT #1 – Developers moving into building apps for The Enterprise!

The consumer market is overcrowded and developers will begin to create apps for businesses!

From an SD Times article,

Since many of us are using our mobile devices to ‘do business,’ there’s an equally if not more lucrative opportunity for developers to develop & build apps to make ‘doing business’… easier! Yes!

Actually… Partnerpedia’s recent survey showed over 80% of the 200+ respondents indicated they currently are or plan to offer mobile app solutions to businesses.

AND with third-party developers entering into the Enterprise IT field… well, this is going to revolutionize and drive innovation in business apps.

This is all ultimately result in increased productivity! And more fun and cool ways to go about doing business-as-usual.

Here are a few biz apps that I think are BAD ASS:

Yammer:  Yammer allows you to share ideas, get answers and stay connected with your team through multiple communication feeds in your company.  Cost: FREE

Hashable:  Hashable allows you to track your business relationships; record meetings, calls and intros; and exchange business cards.  Cost: FREE

Whiteboard Capture:  Allows users to filter pictures of whiteboards to remove undesirable artifacts and get a near-perfect digital image.  Cost: $1.99/user

The Next Biggest SHIFT…

Big SHIFT #2- Apps will not only generate revenue ($15.9 billion in expected end-user spending in 2012) but … INNOVATION.

An overcrowded market means app developers are going to start getting very, very innovative and creative! Mobile carriers are no longer at the helm! With more of us using smartphones, internet players in the mobile space, and the rising-up of application stores, we’re reducing the dominance of the BIG mobile carriers! And this means, fewer rules! Anyone can bring an awesome app to the market now.

This takes me to my next point!

Big SHIFT # 3 - Apps with VERY unique features that cater to the mobile environment are keys to success in this over-crowded market!

The apps that will win our hearts will have wicked features, and WILL NOT simple be an extension of the ‘online’ version.

Innovative apps and technologies at the interface layer will have the competitive edge, for sure.

Over the next 24 months, Gartner Inc. expects the mobile functions, such as the ability to “check in” to a store to alert a retailer that you are there, or the ability to add items to a shopping cart simply by taking a photo of it in the store!

Wicked new features also means… SUPER advanced searching and a TON of entertainment-filled and productivity-fueled functions!

WELL….

If you didn’t know, not just one of my companies but TWO of my companies got acquired recently. One was around July and the other was late September/early October.

The first company that got acquired was a mobile apps company I started last year and the other was my main company DigiSpace Solutions that I have been running for the past 8 years. (and ran the last three years with my business partner and friend Jose Rivera AKA ‘Jay Styles’.)

At first, I didn’t believe that someone would be interested in buying my mobile apps company. I was quite shocked actually because I had only 70 small apps in the app store at the time and they wanted to acquire my system which rapidly created apps. My app company was profitable in it’s FIRST MONTH of operation, which is what caused them to look into my app company in the first place.

But, more importantly they believe SO much in my VISION…

My VISION to build a billion dollar company…

My VISION to create a company that will take Mobile Apps to a whole new height by bringing consumers, developers, and entrepreneur’s together…

And the BIGGER vision is to create a new cellular phone with apps that actually HEAL people (more to come on this in a later blog post…it’s super hush hush right now).

After they acquired my Mobile Apps company, they changed their name to my mobile apps company. It’s called Bitzio (www.bitzio.com) and it’s a publicly traded company (stock ticker symbol is btzo.ob)!

Then, they approached me to acquire my main company DigiSpace Solutions. Now…this was even a BIGGER shocker because I had no idea that a public company would be interested in buying an “affiliate marketing”, “info product”, “marketing”, and “technology” company. Especially because Bitzio was so focused on Mobile Apps. But they wanted to acquire DigiSpace because of the technology we have been building…specifically the Magic Bullet System technology. The idea is to eventually take MBS and incorporate it into the other mobile tools that Bitzio is building.

Jose and I agreed that the offer was right and it made complete sense to do this…and to our surprise they bought DigiSpace too! Bitzio acquired the rights to the Magic Bullet System and everything related to it.

If you thought MBS was gangster before, wait until you see what is in store for it in the future! Pretty crazy stuff.

During this whole process, I was a bit nervous…because I was an entrepreneur. I was all about building new courses, trying new things, and starting new businesses.  I was all about creating new things and building new things. It was always about ME.

But selling to a public company, becoming a part of a public company, and sort of “working” for a public company was SCARY.

I didn’t know what was in store for me and what would happen.

BUT…

I have to say it all worked out pretty well! I am now on what is commonly referred to as the “Board” of the new company, Bitzio, and will be leading the overall product vision for Bitzio. This includes everything related to mobile apps, technology development, and even the new MBS to some extent.

And so what is happening to Jose? Well…Jose and I have decided to part ways as far as business is concerned, but we still remain friends. We all have to eventually move on and grow within ourselves to reach the next level…and that’s where both of us are in our lives! Jose is starting a new, exciting venture and I know he has some really cool things in store for you…so if you haven’t already checked out his website and what he’s about…be sure to do so (www.jaystyles.com).

What’s really cool about this new “role” for me is that I drive the business from a VERY high level. That means, I drive the vision of the company and I get to tell the company exactly how I see the company unfolding, what technology to build, and how we are going to make money. Then it basically gets done! (pretty cool…huh?)

So is this like being an entrepreneur?

Well…sort of…

Since I am pretty high level, I don’t have to manage a ton of employees or make sure things are done on time. I don’t have to worry about accountants, lawyers, project managers, and other things that every company needs. So basically I don’t have to worry about the day to day stuff that eats up time. This is because I now have a TEAM beside me to execute on tasks and make things happen! Pretty exciting stuff.

At the same time, I get to execute on my vision to build an LEGACY. An Empire. A crazy awesome fresh company that has visions larger than the universe.

It’s time to make my DREAMS come true…to build a billion dollar company that will TRANSFORM the world. Seems like a big task, I know…but where would I be if I never thought LARGER THAN LIFE?

This time I’m going BIG…REAL BIG.

The best part about all this is that I still get to work on my “personal” projects and products. So expect to see some AWESOME new material from me in the coming months.

The new content is going to range from how to meditate, to how to build a business, to how to sell your business, to how to get into the Inc500, to finding yourself, to everything in between.

Are you living the life of your dreams? Are you going after your VISION? Are you living your life’s purpose?

Remember – when you feel like your back is against the wall and you have to make a decision in life…YOU ARE RIGHT.

You have to move on and advance…so stop making excuses and make decisions.

I’m writing you from the sandy beaches of Maui where I’ve had some time to reflect on what it takes to affect change.

It’s true what they say…improvement begins with an I.

Yup. Think about it…anything you want to improve always begins with taking a good hard look at yourself and asking the questions, What’s going right? What could I stand to improve?

Now isn’t THAT the truth?

Funny thing is, the same thing goes with your PPC landing pages.

Everybody knows getting the clicks in search is easy…but how well are they really converting?

Let’s face it, it might be high time to check out your landing pages and implement the following top ten tips to enhance your efforts:

1)    I’m Not Asking for Much
When asking first time visitors for information be brief, don’t scare them off. Only ask for a few things but make sure you ask for information that’s going to make you smarter the next time you communicate with them. Forms with only 4-5 required fields—with a couple of them optional—are optimal.

2)    What’s In It For Me?
Be sure to highlight your product or service benefits throughout the page and have a clear call to action. Identify what you want your visitor to do…and tell them!

3)    Privacy Please!
Build trust and enrich the user experience by reassuring visitors that you respect their email privacy. Privacy policies matter—and make a big difference in your opt-ins—so don’t miss this simple step.

4)    A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words…Almost!
Images that relate directly to your service or product are great for conversion. But keep in mind that a bullet point summary of the product’s features and benefits will trump images every time.

5)    K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
When it comes to copy, keep it simple. Too much text overwhelms…remember less is definitely more.

6)    Size Matters…
It’s true. If you want bigger profits, you’re gonna have to have bigger opt-in buttons. The bigger the button the more it gets clicked.

7)    Keep Your Promises
When a visitor comes a calling to your landing page, keep your promises and give them what you said you would. Plain and simple, eh?

8 )    Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3…
Copy is king when it comes to enticing your visitors to opt-in on your forms. Since you never know what copy is going to speak to your particular audience, be willing to test out different calls to action in the copy directly above your forms.

9)    The Heat Is On
Loads of analytics, including heat maps, are available (many of them for free!) to test where your potential customers are spending their time when visiting your landing page. Find them and use them. Trust me, it’s worth your time.

10) Share and Share Alike
It’s a social world we live in today so don’t be left out in the cold. Be sure to include share functions for social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Remember…happy customers are your best advertising!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it takes to be happy.

You know, wake up and jump outta bed, excited to conquer the day happy…truly psyched about living each and every moment.

What’s the key? Why do some people wake up with the Monday morning blahs while others are ready to champion any challenge that comes their way?

I think famed philosopher/mythologist Joseph Campbell said it best when he said,

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.”

Aha! That’s it! THAT’s really what we’re all looking for…our own personal BLISS!

We’ve all seen those people that appear to lead a “charmed” life? Right?

You know the ones…the people who just seem to have everything come easily to them? The greatest opportunities just seem to fall in their lap.

Doors open, money flows abundantly, happiness abounds–they seem to be the luckiest people on earth…

Well, chances are, they are following their BLISS!

As a matter of fact, you can pretty much  bet on it!

You see, the truly amazing thing about doing what you love is that when you “follow your bliss” (as they say) life just really doesn’t seem like work at all!

I know some people tend to think it’s a little “woo-woo” but truth be known, I’m a big believer in the power of positive thinking—and subscribe whole-heartedly to the idea of “following your bliss!”

Over the years, I’ve enjoyed a mind-blowing level of success in my career—and my personal life. Houses over looking the ocean, expensive cars, beautiful wife, fancy watches…you name it.

So how did I do it?

By simply paying attention to the things that make me happy and then focusing my efforts and attention in that direction. It’s kinda like my own personal GPS, if you will!

Yup, it’s that simple…try stuff, see how you feel, if it feels good, follow that feeling!

I think life’s too short to sideline yourself with fears—fear of the unknown, fear of change, fear of success, fear of whatever.

The time is now to examine where your happiness lies and then head ever so persistently in that direction—and that direction alone.

And before you know it, you’ll be following your BLISS!

This blog post is about one of the BIGGEST transformations I am making in my life…

Life is about being three things to most people:

1) Being Happy
2) Being Healthy
3) Being Wealthy

To achieve this, you NEED to concentrate on Mind, Body, and Soul.

I have always tried to have the right “mindset” and I STILL strive to improve my mindset through books and meditation. Spirituality is something that I love and I always strive to make myself a better person by “cleansing and purifying” the soul.

But…being healthy has been difficult for me. I eat WAY better than most people I know, but we all know it’s hard…especially with all the awesome tasting CRAP that is out there.

And exercise? What’s that? LOL…That’s even harder to maintain!

Focusing on Mind, Body, and Soul WILL let you achieve the results you want to achieve in life. Most people think they need to focus on MONEY. But that’s not the case.

Focus on yourself and the rest will come.

Here’s a recent Facebook Wall Post I wrote:

I realized I will ALWAYS have work to do. I will ALWAYS have emails to answer. I will ALWAYS have “fires” to put out. This is just a part of life! But that stuff is NOT urgent. It’s actually YOU that is urgent. It’s YOU that needs to change. Because once YOU change…so does you’re world.

I recently had some bloodwork done by the request of my doctor. The results weren’t what I was expecting.

I have high cholesterol, a “fatty liver”, and gastritis.

Lucky me, eh?

I guess all that drinking and eating crappy food didn’t help me.

Most doctor’s like to scare you with all kinds of things by saying you have this wrong with you and that wrong with you. And then they try to stick you on meds to help mask the problem.

My doctor said the same thing… and so I said…“NOT ME”.

The last thing I am going to do is take pharmaceuticals when I know I can fix myself.

That’s when I met Drew…

Drew Canole from FitLife.tv challenged me to transform myself within 90 days.

(it’s funny how when you have positive intentions in life…positive people and events seem to enter your life at JUST the right moments)

Drew challenged me to transform my health and my body. Not transform like a transformer (well maybe?!), but transform my LIFE.

Since I started my challenge 30 days ago, I’ve lost 7 lbs. I’ve never really been “overweight”, just chubby. haha.

But now, I’ve shed a lot of my chubbiness and have a six pack in the making.

Actually, more like a 2.7 pack.

Now keep in mind, I don’t think I’ve seen those muscles in about 10 years! LOL! I used to have a six pack in high school and beginning of college, but everyone knows what college can do to ya. The common term “freshman 15″ (where you gain 15 pounds your freshman year) didn’t really apply to me. It was more like freshman 30 for me.

So what have I been doing?

1) Eating properly.

Over the last 4-5 years, I’ve eaten very “clean” and healthy foods, but I did love cheese (and other dairy), bread, sugary drinks, and alcohol.

So I cut ALL dairy, most gluten and white bread, refined sugars, alcohol and sugary drinks out of my diet. Of course I’ll eat it once in a while, because I don’t like to be a Nazi on myself and have to live by a strict regimen. But being in control is everything! Everything in moderation! Don’t overdo it!

The occasional cheese in salads is okay, but no more melted cheese stuff. The occasional piece of bread isn’t going to kill you, so that’s okay too. And the occasional drink won’t hurt either. Everything in moderation!

And as far as milk…I haven’t drank milk since I was about 16 because it’s just so bad for you. We are the ONLY mammal’s that drink milk after feeding from our mothers. Doesn’t that just seem odd? Some raw milk has been proven to have benefits, but the milk you find in stores is just horrible for you. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if it caused diseases.

A common misconception is that eating healthy is hard. It’s REALLY not as hard as you think. It just takes a strong mind, strong will, and determination.

2) Juicing.

I can’t even tell you how much my life has changed because of juicing. Thanks to Drew who introduced me to juicing. When I first started juicing, my body went into detox mode and cleanse mode. I used to get tired at random times of the day and feel tired and sleepy. I used to also feel “high” or “light headed” when I would drink these drinks. All those side effects have stopped now and I just get a HUGE burst of energy when I drink these drinks. I juice about 2 to 3 times a day and I make all kinds of juices with all kinds of veggies and fruits…Spinach, Kale, Broccoli, Parsley, Cucumber, Radish, Celery, Zucchini, Garlic, Tomatoes, Celery, Beats, Carrots, Apples, Pears and the list goes on and on.

You’re body needs these “micro nutrients” to heal itself. If you can fix the outside of your body, why not the inside? That’s what juicing does.

I recently saw a great movie called “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead“. This movie fortifies the fact that juicing is CRUCIAL to your health!

3) Exercise.

I am going to the gym about 3 times a week and running twice a week. So 5 days total. I’m starting Yoga in a week or so which will take up one of the days from running.

During my workouts, I usually run, do some core exercises, and then do some weight training. Nothing out of the ordinary or weird stuff like P90x. Just some good old school workouts.

4) Meditation, Determination, and Having Vision.

The key to staying focused and determined through this and being able to be in control of yourself requires mental stamina. Let’s face it, eating healthy and exercising is hard work. It’s harder than most other things you do in your life!

Just meditating and envisioning what you want to achieve in life can dramatically change everything. From health to wealth to your happiness…Meditation, Determination, and Envisioning what you want is what connects your mind, body and soul. This is what creates your happiness, your good health, and your great wealth.

If you can control your mind and not let your mind control you, you can move mountains. (seriously!)

And if you focus on fixing YOURSELF first, you’ll see everything you’ve ever wanted in life to start to appear. I’ve been on a mission to transform my life and transform the world and I see REAL results happening every day. By concentrating on myself, I’ve seen my business change to a whole new level, my mindset has increased to a profound and much higher level, people have entered my life that needed to be there, and so much more.

This is probably one of the WORST videos I have recorded…but not because of Dean, but because of some software called “Call Recorder for Skype”. It totally distorted my face and I look like some pixelated character from Atari. Not to mention it completely screwed up the audio too. Anyone know of any better “call recorders” for Mac?

Not only is Dean Graziosi a GREAT marketer (you have to be to be on TV for 15 years) but has a GREAT mindset. He knows what he wants and he knows what he wants to deliver to the world!

Quite simply because accumulating stuff and consumption of nonsense is just CRAZY.  It’s this never ending vicious cycle of doom.

So this iMac contest’s premise was pretty simple. I am giving away an iMac to the person who can tell me how the iMac is going to change themselves and the world.

This is ALL part of my Mass Scale Impact campaign that I announced…just for the hell of it and to “make the largest impact in the shortest time”.

“This mac would change the health of the world because my girlfriend will use it to make videos for a new youtube channel. She started the raw food diet on Jan. 1st this year and has lost 100lbs with no exercise. Just raw foods, super foods and Chinese and Ayurvedic herbs. Her current computer is a sluggish PIII with 512 MB RAM and can’t handle Adobe Premiere. I bet final cut or whatever the mac video editing software is would be great for her. We literally learned almost everything we know about health now through youtube and now its time to share our story and give back.

Amish, you’ve always talked about getting healthy on your blog and I now know that it’s true. Stay on the path to radiance. It’s crazy that most people don’t know that if you EVER get sick, EVER, the flu, cold, whatever, then you are on the wrong path of health. I’ve met people now who haven’t been sick in 30 years.

SO whatever you do Amish, keep drinking green vegetable juice, eat goji berries and take as much reishi and chaga mushroom as possible.

So why did Robbie win?

Because his girlfriend has transformed her life so much and I’m sure it has affected him as well. They are on the path to major transformation. She is making major strives to be a better person already and she can change the world with her message by showing everyone how she transformed herself (not like a transformer! lol.)

I think health is extremely important and if we are leading by example, we can change the world with these messages. Obesity is on the rise and is the cause of so many diseases, we need to STOP it and reverse the crap we put into our bodies.

I can’t wait for Robbie and his girlfriend to get this new iMac to create, edit, upload videos, and CHANGE THE WORLD.
